The human body is made up of NOT ONLY flesh and bones, BUT the latter being our exoskeleton that support our body and AIDS IN IT FUNCTION. However, our body needs to maintain healthy bones to enable physical work, especially when we play sports or engage in physical labor.
Bones need calcium to sustain their strength and reliability. With time AND OVER USE, our body starts getting weaker and we lose the amount of calcium in our bones, resulting in a weakened exoskeleton. While people may believe that drinking milk would suffice the calcium needed to maintain our bones, it is not the case.
Along with calcium AND MANY OTHER VITAL NUTRIENTS AND MINERALS, our bodies need vitamin D, which helps in metabolizing calcium in the intestines. Without sufficient amounts of Vitamin D in the body, the calcium in our body is not absorbed efficiently and would be wasted.
A vital source of vitamin D is the Sun, which provides roughly 12 hours of sunlight each day. Spending a few minutes to 1 hour in the sun would fulfill our vitamin D deficiency and keep our bodies well supplied with the essential Vitamin. If you were avoiding going in the sun to maintain your skin tone, now is the time to rethink your options.
